Look Inside Marilyn Monroe’s Brentwood Home

We've all been to that dinner party. You know, the one where halfway through the meal, the host name-drops some old-timey Hollywood type who once lived in the very house you're sitting in. This is a fairly frequent occurrence in Los Angeles, and, for the most part, it elicits a forced excitement among guests. But, what if the star in question just so happened to be Norma Jeane Mortenson, more commonly known as Marilyn Monroe? That would be pretty damn cool, right? Well, it turns out this is now a lot more plausible than one might think, considering Monroe's Brentwood home — the only house she ever owned — is currently for sale.
Having lived in 43 different places in her life but never owning one, Monroe ultimately fell for this charming three bedroom cottage-like home, bought it, and moved in. It was only a mere six months later that the iconic star tragically died in this very home. Though several others have owned the home since her death, to our knowledge, this is the first time it's ever been shown in such detail. And, as it turns out, it's just as charming as we could've hoped.
