Sophia Amoruso, the founder and owner of Nastygal, has earned many admirers for her clever riffs on vintage clothing, her provocative-meets-trendy aesthetic, and (of course) #Girlboss, the career-counseling book that practically redefined the genre. Now, it appears she's adding another job title to her résumé: makeup designer.
The collection, a collaboration with MAC Cosmetics, was announced today on the company's blog. It's comprised of three lipsticks — a vibrant red, a deep violet, and a burgundy — as well as a nail lacquer, which remains to be seen. This is the latest of MAC's home-run projects; it just delivered some fierce eyebrow realness with Brooke Shields' collection, plus a Rocky Horror Picture Show line — which prompted exactly as much fan pandemonium as we expected.
