Well, that just escalated quickly. The final trailer for the feverishly anticipated The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 just hit the web. What was looking to be another sleepy Monday, just became a different beast altogether. There's still two months before the penultimate chapter in the series smashes every kind of box-office record ever, but that hasn't stopped Lionsgate from pulling out all the stops here.
It's war time in Panem, with Jennifer Lawrence's reluctant hero Katniss leading the rebels against the dreaded Capitol. We already know that Peeta is being held captive — not necessarily against his will — and it looks like that will drive most of the action this time around.
"You will rescue Peeta at the earliest opportunity, or you will find another Mockingjay," Katniss tells Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and District 13's President Coin (Julianne Moore). Since there's no way they could possibly find another Mockingjay on such short notice, our guess is they'll listen.
Don't worry Peeta, Katniss is coming for ya. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 storms into theaters November 21.
