Last season, Opening Ceremony brought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life with a flowing chocolate wall and golden-ticket goodies. The season before, it was The Fast and The Furious: Fashion Week edition, with models entering the runway via brightly colored sports cars.
Needless to say, we've come to expect big things from Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, especially when it comes to their presentations. So, for OC's Spring/Summer 2015 collection, it's no surprise that they're pulling out the big guns and enlisting not one — but two — of Hollywood's biggest names. Leon and Lim are bringing Jonah Hill and Spike Jonze to New York Fashion Week.
Hill and Jonze are reportedly cowriting a one-act play that will incorporate a cast of both actors and models (Hill will not star in the piece). “We were really excited about [Jonze] writing an original script and seeing how this would take shape,” Leon told WWD. He also confirmed that it was the Her screenwriter's idea to bring Hill on board. Jonze is no stranger to collaborating with the American streetwear brand; Opening Ceremony has featured capsule collections inspired by two of his films, Her and Where The Wild Things Are. (WWD)
