When it comes to bedtime, comfy PJs and gorgeous bedding go together like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Sure, they're both great on their own, but together they're a truly dynamic duo. Still, buying all of our sleep things in matching fabrics? We were a bit skeptical about the idea, as the last time our shams coordinated with our nighties was probably in kindergarten — the fabric no doubt a Disney-princess print.
But, textile brand kumi kookoon and Brooklyn-based Hovey Design changed our minds with their new, 100% silk collaboration, available this April. The collection features sumptuous pillows, sheets, duvet covers, robes, camis, and pants in an Art Deco, chinoiserie-esque floral print designed by the Hovey sisters. It's absolutely heavenly with flowing lines and a slightly mysterious edge.
We could definitely see Mae West or a James Bond accomplice stepping out of their boudoir in one of the ensembles ahead — cocktail in hand, of course. Click through to see all of the silk lovelies, and then check out the full line at kumi kookoon, or stop by ABC Carpet & Home. Sweet dreams, indeed.
