Well, friends, awards season is here, and our expectations for dazzling beauty looks are set pretty high. After all, our favorite celebs have kept us so entertained with hair changes and bold lips recently that it would just be cruel to go back to boring red carpet classics.
We're thrilled to report that not only were we not disappointed, we were thoroughly impressed. Between Laura Carmichael's metallic blue eyeshadow, Lupita Nyongo's fabulously styled short hair, and Kate Mara's, well, everything, this was truly the evening for out-of-the-box beauty. Which, in case you haven't noticed, is our favorite kind.
