Ok, just hear us out on this one. We understand that, yes, Vogue is the industry-leading flagship of the entire fashion publishing industry. Moreover, we appreciate that this glossy editorial compass can make or break a growing clothing brand, and peppers its pages with beautiful photo shoots, the budgets for which could also be used to make a down payment on a sizable house in a nice neighborhood. But, folks, there's simply no way Anna Wintour and co. can compete with Dog Vogue.
Granted, Dog Vogue is, for the moment at least, only a photo series shot and styled by Sophie Gamand of Striking Paws photography using incredible pieces provided by, "acclaimed pet couturier Anthony Rubio." But, surely, it's only a matter of time until Dog Vogue is squeezing people Vogue off of newsstands everywhere, breaking circulation records, and forcing Wintour to decamp Condé Nast for Cat Fancy. We mean, just look at those dogs. Even Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé can't compare.
