As much as we hate it when a celebrity couple splits before we've managed to come up with a proper nickname (Katsim? Chmupt?), we have a feeling that a good chunk of our readers will be overjoyed to know that a certain supermodel is doing her own little thing. Yes, folks, Kate Upton and professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy have danced their last tango. Sniff.
Though reps for both Upton — due to star in The Other Woman — and her former beau have declined to comment, insiders say the couple of six months "never saw each other." While Upton was focusing on modeling in New York City, Chmerkovskiy spent much of his time in Los Angeles following the close of his Broadway show, Forever Tango. Hey, not even frequent flier miles can save some relationships.
While we thought the all-American blonde and the Ukrainian heartthrob made a cute pair, we can't say we're exactly experiencing Miranda-and-Orlando-level feelings of loss.
