The Best Places To Watch Thursday’s Fireworks

"Oh say, can you see" is actually not what you want to be singing when the fireworks launch over the Hudson River later this week. In its 37th year, the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular is always a sight to remember — if you can actually find a spot with a good vantage point. So put on your reds, whites, and blues, and check out our list.

SOAKED
Atop the tallest building on Soho, SOAKED is throwing "Red, White, and Juice" from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with a beer-and-wine open bar available for the first four hours. All partygoers can enjoy the panoramic views, free-flowing drinks, and artisan popcorn throughout the evening.

Sky Terrace
Sky Terrace has unobstructed views of the Hudson River all the way down to the Statue of Liberty. Tickets will include a one-hour open bar sponsored by Moët Hennessy to start off the night. Rawse J. Schott and Brandon James will be pumping jams all party long from 6 to 11:30 p.m.

Intrepid
For a seriously unique experience, reserve a seat aboard Intrepid, the Sea, Air, and Space Museum. Tickets are available for five different seating areas and include complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages, and full access to the aircraft carrier's Hangar Deck.

West Side Highway
What you save in money you will spend in time. Head to the West Side Highway early — the northbound lanes will be blocked off at 2 p.m. — to stake out a stellar view of the fireworks for free. Access points will be open along 11th Avenue at various locations.

Sky Room
Celebrate Independence Day from the highest rooftop lounge in NYC. Sky Room is offering a five-hour premium open bar, a summery picnic buffet (pigs in blankets, chicken tenders, potato chips, and more), and stunning 360-degree views.

Circle Line Fireworks Cruise
Be as close as you can be by snagging a seat on Circle Line's Fireworks Cruise. Boarding begins at 5 p.m. and the boat launches at 7 p.m. Spend the evening on the river, under the fireworks, and you'll dock back at 11 p.m. Worried you'll get seasick? Circle Line is also throwing a party right on Pier 83.
