Christian Louboutin Wants Everyone To Walk Like An Egyptian

Three cheers for Christian Louboutin's latest window displays, which bring Egypt right to the heart of London. The tableaus, commissioned to complement the fall ’13 collection, are amazingly authentic, complete with a sphinx, stone columns, and papyrus hieroglyphs— so, you can basically cancel that trip you booked to Cairo.
With Ancient Egypt cited as a long-term obsession of Mr. Louboutin’s, this appears to be an ideal opportunity to showcase his interests and give us the whole package — from inspiration through to presentation. The theatrical designs were orginally a special commission for Saks Fifth Avenue, but luckily for us the concept has been rolled out globally, to capture the attention of shoe-lovers and museum-junkies alike.
So, if we cancel our next vacation and invest in a pair from the fall collection, technically, we just saved money, right?
