Hillary Clinton Is Attending This Year's CFDAs To Honor A Longtime Friend

Break out the spangled banana clips! Hillary Clinton will be attending this Monday's CFDA Awards to present the Founder's Award to friend Oscar de la Renta. Unlike current First Lady Michelle Obama, Clinton wasn't quite known for her fashion taste, but chose to wear beautiful ODLR on many memorable occasions (which also might explain why de la Renta has had such beef with Michelle Obama's present Oscar-less wardrobe).
Past winers of the Founder's Award (given in honor of CFDA founder and acclaimed public relations giant Eleanor Lambert) have included Andrew Rosen, Tonne Goodman, Patrick Demarchelier, and Irving Penn.
