Is This The Most Wonderful Cat-Related Thing On The Internet Right Now?

Looking to update your tea service? While we’re all for stockpiling vintage crockery to showcase our favorite fondant fancies on, the good people at East London emporium Luna & Curious are showing us an entirely new way to celebrate tea time. In the form of artist Grace Wilson for welovekarou’s Alley Cat plates.
Each cat comes with a name and a backstory. Apparently Francois is a hard-bitten detective who is secretly in love with Betty the librarian (the one with the glasses; do keep up) who has a brother called The Kid who is getting in trouble down at the Cat Whisker’s Saloon. Okay, a little far-fetched for ceramic plates you’re going to eat cake off, but these did bring a smile to our face. What do you think? Up for swapping out your mismatched china?
Alley Cat Plates by welovekarou, £20 each, available at Luna & Curious.
