Peep L.A.'s Cutest Pooches — & Their Very Stylish Owners!

[UPDATE: This story was originally published on March 21.]
After the Paris Hilton-style publicity stunts of the early '00s, L.A. has gotten a bad rap for gauche girls using pups as mere accessories. While we most certainly don't advocate that behavior, we have to say: Seeing a stylish lady on the street with her canine cuddlebug is way more swoon-inducing than eyeing a new PS1, or a killer pair of heels.
To get your mid-week tail wagging on, we've scoured the squee-inducing world of Lala pups to bring you pics of the prettiest duos of wow-worthy women and their pooches. And after seeing these snaps, you'd better believe that whoever said you can run with the big dogs or sit on the porch and bark, was right!

She howls at fire engines, has traveled with me to Paris, and is my incredible canine partner in crime as we navigate our way amid the City of Angels upon an Italian Bianchi bike and a wooden basket. She usually comes with me to meetings in Beverly Hills, and more often than not, when we're zooming past cars or at traffic lights people will say 'Oh look, its Dorothy and Toto!'

'No' I firmly respond, 'it's Linlee and Lucky!'"
