Boutique Crawl: Miami's 6 Hottest New Shops

Marni. The Webster. Barneys. Yes, we know we're not NYC or Paris, but really, we have nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to our retail scene. It's already so easy to separate your credit card from your wallet anywhere from Lincoln Road to the luxury mall that is Bal Harbour, so if you're a budding shopaholic (or way past the point of no return), you might want to stop reading. Still here? Good—let's be in this together. We scoped the city for the newest additions to the boutique scene and discovered a small crop of keepers that have all opened over the last few months. Whether sexy lingerie is your thing or you're jonesing for some quiet casual wear, one thing's for sure: This six-spot roundup is bringing us one step closer to the international competition.

120 Lino

If you find yourself in need of "tropical chic" attire or just really want to look sophisticated in the middle of a Miami humidified heat wave, 120% Lino should be one of your destinations. The Italian-based line opened its first US location in Coral Gables' Village of Merrick Park and it's been a perfect fit with Miami linen-loving culture and steamy temps. One of the most endearing aspects of this shop is their adorable children's section. Instant Vogue Italia-style family photos on the beach? Done.

Agent Provocateur

When it comes to lingerie we're happy to report that racy British brand Agent Provocateur has opened its doors in Miami's conservative Coral Gables. Their spring line is an homage to the sensuality of seventies cinema, which makes sense given the sultry, boudoir feel of the shop's interiors. Keep it in mind the next time you're buying yourself or a lucky someone else a lovely new pair of knickers—just be prepared for the naughty response.

Guy and Girl

If more hotel shops were like Guy and Girl we'd pack less and shop more. This well-curated boutique at the Shelbourne has a soothing, beachy feel and offers a mix of pragmatism and style, with a focus on ray-fighting essentials like Tom Ford sunglasses. So, whether you're a tourist looking to add hints of Miami to your look or a local running in to grab a thing or three, Guy and Girl has a strong selection of chic basics for guys, and, yes, girls.

Bottega Veneta might not be new to Miami, but the luxury Italian does brand have a pretty new home in Bal Harbour. The 3,500-square-foot space offers a more comprehensive selection of BV's offerings, including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and items for the home. CH Carolina Herrera

It's said that good things come in threes. Apparently this holds true for fashion too—this is the third CH Carolina Herrera store in South Florida. And, this bright and feminine boutique—ideal for women who embrace strong colors in their everyday life—might just be the best of the bunch. Look for Carolina Herrera de Baez's (Carolina Herrera's daughter) Mini Matryoshka bag, part of her first capsule collection for her madre.

Unknwn Miami

Since its debut in December this store has generated buzz and caused Aventura Mall to up its security strategy. But that's to be expected when one of the NBA brightest super stars, LeBron James, and his crew of besties, opens a lifestyle boutique. Sneakerheads and designer aficionados are both flocking to the space for their high/low combinations of brands like Band of Outsiders, APC, Beats by Dre, Levis, and Jeremy Scott. And no wonder they've recruited more guards—one of their newest fans is Justin Bieber, who practically shut down the mall upon his visit.
