Fashion Week is upon us, which, for us here at NYC iPhone App/Dining Resource Immaculate Infatuation, means only one thing: Stay as far away from the Meatpacking District as humanly possible. Not exactly a difficult task for us. Let's just say, that's not an area whose restaurants we voluntarily choose to frequent.

When our friends at Refinery29 asked us to compile a list of some of our favorite NYFW friendly dining establishments, we decided to take the approach of the road less traveled. You won't find the obvious spots on this list. Laughing at all the crazy Euros at Catch is too easy and we all know a late trip to The Spotted Pig will for sure be a good time. You're likely already headed to ACME for some cool party anyway, and you don't need our help identifying The Fat Radish as a hotbed for downtown, vegetable grazing, high-heeled activity. And if you must go to Beauty & Essex, we can't blame you. The food is better than we thought it would be and they serve champagne in the girls' bathroom. Ladies, you win.
