Bottoms Up! Drink In The New Year With These 5 Bubbly Cocktail Recipes

There’s nothing like a Champagne cocktail to get you into a New Year’s state of mind. But what if you don’t like the celebratory bubbly straight up? Does that make you a party pooper? No, that just makes you honest. There are plenty of imbibers out there on your same boat. So much so that spots like STK, The Forge, and Philippe have created their own sparkly drink concoctions that mix in other ingredients for those who like variety. And while all these hotspots will be partying it up come the 31st, you don’t have to make a visit to the bar to get a taste. We managed to gather five Champagne cocktail recipes created by the biggest names in Miami nightlife that were willing to share. But after you taste these beverages, you might not be as generous.

The Forge’s Lychee Spumante
1 ounce lychee-infused vodka
0.5 ounce Domaine de Canton (ginger liqueur)
0.5 ounce simple syrup
0.5 ounce Champagne

Pour vodka, Domaine de Canton, and simple syrup into mixing glass and shake with ice.
Pour into Champagne flute.
Top with Champagne and garnish with a lychee.

STK’s Pink Elephant Martini
1 ounce Grey Goose Pear
0.5 ounce Champagne
4 strawberries
1 lime
1 mint leaf

Muddle 3 strawberries, mint, and lime in mixing glass.
Pour Grey Goose Pear into martini glass with muddled ingredients.
Top with Champagne and garnish with a strawberry.

Shore Club’s Lemon Spritz
5 ounce lemon juice
0.5 ounce simple syrup
0.25 ounce Limocello
3 ounce Prosecco or Champagne

Add lemon juice, syrup and Limoncello to mixing glass.
Fill with ice.
Add Champagne.
Stir and strain into flute.

Philippe’s Shanghai Philippe
1 ounce Stoli Strawberry
0.5 ounce Elderflower syrup
3 strawberries
2 ounce Champagne

Muddle strawberries in mixing glass.
Pour Stoli Strawberry and Elderflower syrup into mixing glass.
Shake mix.
Pour half of mix into a glass and fill the rest with Champagne.

Fontainebleau’s The Harlequin
0.5 ounce lime juice
Barspoon homemade grenadine*
1 ounce creme de noisette
1 1/2 ounce white rum
0.5 ounce Champagne

*Homemade grenadine
4 cups of pomegranate juice
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoon lemon juice
Mix all in a pot and simmer

Add lime juice, grenadine, crème de noisette, and white rum to mixing glass.
Shake, strain, and pour into Champagne glass.
Top with Champagne.
