What Our Favorite Celebs Actually Cook For Themselves

Real talk: if I was a celebrity, I would find it very easy to never pick up a skillet or knife again. After all, no more cooking means no more dishes, right? (I'd also have someone make my bed every day, too). But not all celebs are as quick to bid their kitchens adieu. Of course, it may help that some of these celebs, like Kylie Jenner, can also afford a tricked-out kitchen for all that cooking.

We've rounded up 15 times that our favorite celebs, from Gigi Hadid to Jesse Tyler Ferguson, impressed us with their culinary prowess. While some people, like Chriss Teigen, are well-known for their skills in the kitchen, there are some that still surprised us with their culinary prowess. Just wait till you see what Anna Kendrick can do with a cookie.

Ahead, the celebs we'd totally love to get a dinner invite from.

Kylie Jenner
The youngest Karshashian-Jenner sister is actually a pretty busy cook. Though her short-lived app-only show, Cooking With Kylie, is seemingly no more, she still uses Snapchat to give us a glimpse into her kitchen doings, including her instant Ramen hack.

Reese's food 'grams are primarily of coffee and adorable meals she makes for her youngest child, Tennessee (appropriately hashtagged #ToddlerEats). But occasionally she gives us a glimpse into her adult cooking projects, like these adorable lemon squares.

Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy's food prowess is pretty much beyond dispute at this point (she's written a legit cookbook, after all). But we were perhaps the most impressed with her when she revealed she knows the secrets to the perfect hard-boiled egg.

When Kim started posting her weekly Soul Food Sunday snaps last summer, the internet was skeptical — to say the least. But after Chrissy Teigen tweeted her praise, we were convinced.

She may not be the best food 'grammer in the world, but Blake wins points for enthusiasm. Her homemade biscuits, from the Heartlandia cookbook, "changed [her] life."

If you only looked at Taylor's Instagram, you might assume she only cooks and eats cookies. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwen's Goop-friendly creations have filled four cookbooks. But not all of her recipes are so complicated. This quesadilla decked out with a poached egg, guac, and fresh salsa is something we'd love to whip up for an easy weeknight meal.

She can act, sing, dance, and, as it turns out, decorate cookies like nobody's business. Is Anna Kendrick a quadruple threat now?

Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Will Jesse Tyler Ferguson be the next celeb with a cookbook? Based on his Instagram feed, we wouldn't be surprised. He used green chiles from New Mexico to make this slow cooker pork stew.
