Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are taking their daughter's privacy seriously. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the newlyweds filed a lawsuit yesterday over what they call the "wrongful" publication of photos of baby Wyatt. The couple issued proceedings in London High Court against The Daily Mail and its publisher, Associated Newspapers, over two articles about their little girl. "Ashton and Mila understandably value their private and family life, and in particular their personal time with their daughter," their lawyer, Paul Tweed, said in a statement to THR. "Like any other family they should be allowed to enjoy family outings without being pursued by photographers. They have made it clear that they do not agree to the publication of photographs of such occasions," the statement continued. The actors also objected to the "wrongful publication of paparazzi photographs of family outings" accompanied by shopping links to "promote clothing products by the Mail." The British paper often features shopping suggestions for readers who want to mimic a celebrity's style, but Kutcher and Kunis clearly found this to be invasive. At the time the photos of Wyatt first appeared, Kutcher lashed out at media outlets. Whether or not their proceedings are successful, this lawsuit should give the paparazzi a wake-up call.
