Fans of Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks are doing cartwheels in the streets today, with the news that a brand new series from Judd Apatow is on the way.
Netflix has picked up two seasons of Love, a new comedy from Apatow, Paul Rust, and Lesely Arfin. The show will be an "unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships," according to the streaming giant.
Rust (Inglourious Basterds), will join Community's Gillian Jacobs to play unexpected lovers Gus and Mickey, who must "navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, and other things they were hoping to avoid."

Although they have yet to film a pilot, Netflix has already signed on for 22 episodes, with 10 expected to air in season one, and 12 in season two. The amount of confidence Netflix is placing in the trio shouldn't come as a surprise. Both Apatow and Arfin have been instrumental in making Girls one of the most influential shows in recent memory, as a producer and writer respectively.
If Netflix is looking to capture some of Lena Dunham's millenial magic, they've certainly come to the right place.
Love will begin airing in 2016.
