Just when you thought the lob was wheezing its final breaths, it gets a new lease on life. Exhibit A: Jourdan Dunn's new, shoulder-grazing chop. The model showed off her new snip on Instagram ahead of last night's VMAs. She styled her new 'do sleek and straight, which emphasized her subtle blonde color.
The cut looks incredible on Dunn (obviously — check out those cheekbones), but we'd be interested in seeing how she styles it from one day to the next. Jourdan's got a head of incredible natural hair, and she's shown it off on her Instagram plenty of times before. But, as people with curls who have adopted a shorter cut know, the less length you've got the tighter your coils get.
We are dying to see Jourdan's natural hair with a cut like this, and we can see her style going the direction of Beyoncé's curly lob. Could this be the beginning of the lob 2.0? Looks like last year's It style isn't so passé after all.
