The CFDA Awards are a time to dole out the top prizes in the world of fashion. However, after this year’s showing, we’re starting to think of the event as the Kentucky Derby of the beauty biz. In New York City last night, the makeup looks and pretty hairstyles gave the ensembles on display a run for their money.
Between Rihanna’s smoky eye (which you may not have noticed, thanks to her sheer ensemble) and Emmy Rossum’s braid-and-crimp mashup, it was really difficult to pick out just a handful of our favorite looks.
