Brad Pitt Cuts His Hair For New Role In Fury

Brad Pitt's long hair has finally gone the way of the dodo. The actor has apparently chopped off his hair for his role in Fury, a drama set during World War II. Only a few days ago he was still sporting his long-lived shoulder-length hair when he appeared on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival. He was there been promoting his latest film, 12 Years A Slave, set in the pre-Civil War United States. Long hair would hardly do for Fury, which is currently being filmed in the English countryside and centers on an American Sherman Tank platoon behind Nazi lines at the tail end of the war. In these photos, Pitt is covered up with a cap, but it would appear that his new 'do is even shorter than the one he sported in his last WWII-era role in Inglourious Basterds.
Pitt stars in Fury, directed by The Fast and the Furious' David Ayer, with Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Logan Lerman and Jon Bernthal. We must say, this buzz cut is a welcome relief. While we were adjusting to the lion-mane hairdo he's been sporting for years, it wasn't our favorite. This is the Brad we know and love, and we're happy to welcome him back. (The Daily Mail)
