The Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit was a supreme hit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and was probably the most successful and memorable Costume Institute show to date. The upcoming one seems promising, though a little confusing—sources told WWD that the 2012 exhibit will revolve around Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli. We're a little unsure about the connection between the two designers, save for their use of bold, unconventional designs. The exhibit opens this spring. (WWD)
