After Target, Mercedes-Benz and Mary-Kate Steinmiller are the latest big names to team up with Miami’s famed boutique, The Webster – and while there are decidedly less flamingos, things do look bright. The luxury car company and jewelry designer started Miami Swim Week’s engine with the unveiling of a limited-edition collection that can only be found at The Webster and online, beginning today, July 21. The line is sure to tempt the most ardent neck and arm party-havers with two bracelet styles and one necklace made of Mercedes-Benz vehicle leather.

Yup, actual car leather — like, from a real-deal Benz. In honor of the partnership, Steinmiller and The Webster’s CEO darling, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, hosted Bespoke by Mercedes-Benz — a “do-it-yourself” themed soiree where guests are invited to make their own haute couture resort accessories using the same luxe Mercedes-Benz vehicle leather used in Steinmiller’s collection, to kick off Swim Week.
As if a DIY party at The Webster wasn’t enough reason to celebrate, Mercedes-Benz will also be honoring Vitamin A’s Amahlia Stevens with the distinguished title of “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designer. The beloved swimwear designer will join a standout roster of past title recipients like Hervé Legér, Monique Lhuillier, Badgley Mischka, and Trina Turk. So, while you won't actually be leaving with a real Benz, you'll have a piece of one.
