These breathing mannequins wear blank expressions and homogeneous blunt-banged hairstyles while they stand motionless like some kind of inanimate Nutcracker. First, they stood frozenly at Grand Central as a pre—Fashion Week PR move, and now they're lifelessly staring at people as they line up for shows in the tents. And they're adjacent to the… plastic Barbies. The juxtaposition was too glaring to ignore. Why oh why make women look like they're made of polyvinyl chloride?
