In the bleach-white confines of Studio 450 overlooking an industrial sprawl and the Hudson River, United Bamboo's fall '11 collection was busily prepping for debut. Models lounged with lower lids lined in black, giving their eyes an otherworldly feline appeal. Charlotte Free's pastel pink hair practically vibrated in the vivid white interior, while MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden provided a joint soundtrack with Peter Kember aka Sonic Boom. Slowly but surely, the room filled with fashion folk in bold accessories like wide brimmed crayon-red hats and one of this season's biggest trends, children below the age of seven.
