What Would Happen If The Sun Never Set?

Some summer days are so good, you just don't want them to end. You know, when your daytime plans extend so far into the evening, you forget how late it actually is. Well, Sunglass Hut is on the same page. The brand that keeps you well shaded on the brightest days is looking to keep the daylight going — literally, thanks to the first-ever crowd-powered sun — at its Electrify Your Summer tour, which is popping up in L.A. this Saturday. If we lost you at crowd-powered sun, allow us to explain. The dance floor's tiles will absorb the energy from the crowd's movement to power sunlight lamps. Translation: The harder you dance, the sunnier the forecast. So, if you're in L.A. on May 30, gather your friends and hit the dance floor at The Brig Lot in Venice Beach from 2 to 9 p.m. The summer bash will feature all the party essentials: live music (provided by local talents Monogem and DJ Whitney Fierce), photo booths, local eats, custom tattoos, and a pop-up shop with the latest shades from Sunglass Hut. How late can you stretch the day? It's totally up to your moves. If you ask us, we'd say this is the time to perfect your Electric Slide (wink, wink). The Brig Lot is located at 1515 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, CA. No RSVP required. Upcoming tour dates: Chicago, June 6 to 7; Miami, June 13 to 14; NYC, June 20 to 21.
