Kudos to the team over at Stylelist! Just last week their editor-in-chief Anya Strzemien executed a genius idea when she created "The I Promise To Stop Staying Negative Things About My Body Jar." As the saying goes, you are your own worst enemy. But Anya has started to fight the good fight, against herself....and the rest of the Stylelist team followed suit against their own inner negative thoughts.
Here's the gist: when a member of the team says something negative about themselves, they must pay a $1 to the jar. Since the jar's birth last week, they have already raised well over $10, the contents of which will all be donated to Girls Inc.. Makes us wonder: should we at R29 start thinking doling out the dollars and turning our own negativity into something positive? Really, shouldn't we all? (Stylelist)
