Street Seen at Lorick: Peter Klein, Set Designer

"Abagail's clothes are ladylike, but not in a trite way, grounded, in manners but not a tight ass, thoughtful, loves to have fun." In order to create a set that would fuse well with the new Lorick line, Klein used the "Mr. sandman" song for the "cake coma" scene. He mentioned that the worn disaster look that ran throughout is significant to our country's times. "There's such a strenuous economy and I tried to project beauty (in the girls) amongst chaos." His favorite vignette was the "war of the roses wall of TVs." "I had 10-pi-squared—out of a possible 10 on the scale—amounts of fun destroying everything."
