Too Lazy For Nail Art? Fake It — With The Swipe Of A Brush

Oh nail art. We love you, but recently we haven't had a lot of time for you. Work, family, life, stalking Emma Stone — you get the picture. Between the hectic nature of the season and the fact that we're just plain lazy, we've fallen a bit behind on our nail art game.
Enter Julie Kandalec, a celebrity and editorial manicurist based in NYC, who came to our rescue with what might be the simplest nail art fake-out of all time. Using shatter polish, she simply employs a few different brushstrokes to create a host of entirely new looks. Finish it off with a simple swipe of topcoat and — ta-da! — nail art. Genius, we say. Not to mention the fact it helps give your shatter polish — which, let's face it, kind of has a limited life span in terms of how often you use it — new purpose.
