Have we ever mentioned that there's nothing sexier than a man in nice jeans? Perhaps that's why we were super-psyched to hear that one of our favorite menswear designers, Robert Geller, is bringing his sharp 'n tough aesthetic to beloved (and affordable) brand Levi's. Taking a cue from the down-and-dirty denim of yesteryear, Geller's new collection features the kind of smart detailing that's won Geller some well-deserved acclaim, like a CFDA. The collection consists of 11 pieces, including a salt-washed chambray shirt, a denim parka with a (surprisingly masculine) swallowtail hem, and a made-over 606 Super Slim jean that looks like it was snatched straight off of James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. The collection will hit select Bloomingdale's locations next month, topping out at $575 for the parka. And while we can't recommend the Texas Tuxedo outright, Geller's wares might call for some hot denim-on-denim action. (WWD)
