Rankin and Macallan—The Latest Hookup Between Fashion and Booze

Fashion and liquor tend to blend as well together in print as they do in person. Scarlett Johansson was just announced as the new face of Moët & Chandon and we all remember what Terry Richardson did for Belvedere Vodka. Now we can add The Macallan and Rankin to the mix. Equal parts fashion and alcohol, the collaboration between scotch company Macallan and super-photog Rankin, who's shot everyone from Kylie lying naked to Bill Clinton in a tie pointing strategically, um, down, is a lush-worthy project. Titled The Masters of Photography, Rankin produced 1,000 images of his muse, Tuuli, using only Polaroid film, a nod towards the historical significance of both The Macallan brand and the now-discontinued favorite quick clicks. Each photo is sold in its own box with a rare 30-year-old Scotch. Now if that's not a good reason to hit the bottle, we don't know what is.
