Ace: Ralph Lauren’s New U.S. Open Collection

Ah, U.S. Open season, how we love thee. Andy Roddick, Andy Murray, Roger Federer, David Ferrer—watching these boys hit balls makes us sweat as much as them. And besides the man-candy, it's always fun to see what the top-ranking single male and female players (Uh, Williams sisters anyone?) will wear court-side. Equally distracting are the Ralph Lauren uniforms sported by the dextrous ballboys and girls, which, alongside other tennis-ready merch, are handily available to buy at the RL shop onsite at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and online. Each year, Lauren, the official apparel sponsor of the Open, offers up different, sporty designs, and 2011 is no exception: Look for a fresh take on tennis gear, with colors—bright greens, neon orange, and a rich navy— that will pop with or without rackets. We especially love (get it?) the Women's Rally Polo and the Men's Custom Fit Polo, complete with a diagonal stripe for extra match attention. While we might not wear 'em off the court, we're certainly never opposed to generating attention from our local pro, especially if he looks like Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Match Point.
