Take A Bow, Tango. Emerald Green Is The ’13 Pantone Color Of The Year

Feel free to finally pack away your dancing shoes. As 2012 quickly comes to an end, so does the color craze known as Tangerine Tango. Next up? A less shocking, more jewel-tone hue that's just as bold. Say hello to Pantone's 2013 Color of the Year, Emerald Green.
Shifting over to a cooler color, Pantone states that its latest selection symbolizes "renewal and prosperity," promotes healing, and, as a shade of green, is often associated with nature and rejuvenation. And, following in the path of its predecessor, expect much of next year's market to reflect this must-know, must-wear, can't-get-enough-of color — we're talking everything, from your closet to your makeup bag to your studio-apartment walls.
Get your fill of tangerine now, because this royal shade of green will be It come January — but, do you agree? Does emerald green feel perfectly appropriate for 2013, or are you just not a fan?
