We Tried 4 Long-Wear Lipsticks — Here’s What Happened

Let's be real: Our beauty products make some pretty lofty claims. Every tube of lipstick alleges to be the brightest, most moisturizing, and all-around best hue we could ever swipe on. But, the biggest claim we regularly call BS on? Long-wear.
Truthfully, it's hard for any type of pigment to stick to your lips for more than a few hours. Why? It's because our lips get put to work a lot throughout the day. Food, drink, and gossip pass across them so regularly, it's only natural that the color will break down.
Still, our products make the claims. We're obviously going to test 'em out, right? Ahead, we do just that.
We gave four long-wear lippies the go-around, seeing how they fared against cake pops, champagne, and ramen (three of the more important food groups). Did they stand up? Read on for the results.
