Leonard’s Fall 2012 Collection Was Inspired By Kate Lanphear

Black leather, tough boots, and a platinum-blonde asymmetrical crop… If that description didn't immediately conjure up Kate Lanphear (or, okay, Billy Idol works, as well), we suggest you reacquaint yourself with her look. Fashion fans love La Lanphear, creating blogs such as Fear Lanphear around her street style get-ups, and now Kate has gotten her very own collection designed in her image. Age-old fashion house Leonard's fall '12 collection was inspired by Kate, from the black-on-black right down to her cropped hair style. "I can’t sort of believe it," says Lanphear endearingly. “I’m from the mountains in Virginia, so it’s a great honor to be the inspiration for anything here. I usually can’t even believe that I’m here in Paris, let alone this. It’s come as quite a shock.”
