Kreayshawn Wears “Gucci, Gucci,” Looks Amazing, Gives More Kray-Kray Quotes

Kreayshawn Marie Claire
Okay, so we definitely find it fun to rip on Kreayshawn here and there. But this time, we're writing to give the Bay Area native some major props.
If you scooped up the February issue of Marie Claire, note that there's a piece in there, dubbed "They've Got The Beat," which profiles some of music's newest talents. And lo and behold, our very own Kreay-Kreay made the list!

The leader of the White Girl Mob got to play over-the-top dress-up with the MC gang and stylist William Graper, who clothed the "Gucci, Gucci" rapper in two explosively clashing (in a good way) mixed-print ensembles consisting of pieces by Thakoon, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, local bauble designer Jessica Winzelberg, and more. Oh wait...and we see two credits for none other than...GUCCI! Does that mean Kreayshawn's actually a
basic bitch
? (Hey, we had to say it.)

The 22-year-old, who is now sporting fancy violet hair, also explains to writer Sergio Kletnoy why she goes by Kreayshawn instead of her real name, Natassia Gail Zolot. "My name came from the word creation. I'm a creative person. It's what makes me who I am, not just the music I make," she says.
And here's another doozy Kreayshawn quotable from the article, which also profiles VV Brown, Natalia Kills, and Ellie Goulding: "It's definitely going to be an exciting story for my grandkids," Kreay says of her super-fast success. "I'm going to be like, 'Your grandma used to have a record deal! I used to be the finest thing!' And they're not going to give a shit. They'll be like, 'Grandma, your tattoos are wrinkly. You suck!'"
