Julia Frakes, writer, fashion-fan, and model, has been shot by Annie Leibovitz to appear in Gap China's first-ever campaign. Wearing her signature mismatch of patterns and styles (Florals and a flag-print? Why not?), Julia might seem like a strange choice for the inaugural launch, considering the bevy of other more-established models with Chinese-appeal. But judging from the amount of coverage that she's been getting in Asian magazines, Frakes isn't only big in Japan, but also in China, Korea, and other Eastern countries.
