If you have an Instagram account, you've probably been inundated with holiday nail art recently. No? Just search for #ChristmasNailArt. Go on. We'll wait.
Well, if you're looking to take your tips beyond polish and glitter, allow us to present this photo shoot from The Bold Italic. The blog's Isla Bell Murray has concocted six sicker-than-average designs that require no nail polish. And, she totally went for it.
Aside from these pretty accurate snowmen (complete with real carrot noses), Isla created menorah nails you can actually light (klutzes, beware), a mani made with real pine needles (to hang ornaments on?), and other designs you have to see to believe. Our favorite, though, is something called Wrapper's Delight, which is pretty perfect for using up all that leftover gift wrap.
Would we actually try these? Probably not. They're a little too intense for our lazy-girl lifestyle. But, we have to give credit where it's due: These guys are hilariously awesome.
