Frances Cobain Exhibits Creepy Art

Fiddle-Tim-Show.jpg

Under the pseudonym Fiddle Tim, Frances Bean Cobain, the 17-year-old
daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, has been showing
and selling her sketchbook art. Since July 2, the creepy images have
been on display at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in an exhibition titled
"Scumfuck." On the gallery's site, they acknowledge that Fiddle Tim is a
fake name, but list a little bit of biographical information
nonetheless. Fiddle Tim is inspired by Al Columbia, Frank Kozik, and
Satan
. Fiddle is turned on by Snuggies and butter and turned off by
scurvy. All eight of the pieces on the site have sold with prices
ranging from $250 to $400. The ghoulish faces may be a little creepy
but given the pop culture clout of the artist we think this show is a
must-see. Fans can catch it now through Sunday, August 1.

La Luz de Jesus Gallery, 4633 Hollywood Boulevard (Between North Vermont and Hillhurst avenues); 323-666-7667.
