Rufus Wainwright's concerts are some of the best around. And though we can't get enough of his haunting melodies and drama-tinged songs, we're also pretty much in love with his London dandy style sensibility. For his newest "All Days Are Nights: Songs For Lulu" tour (started yesterday, April 11 in Southhampton, UK!), Rufus—usually decked out in a dapper suit—went glam-goth, with a custom-designed feather ensemble made by Zaldy. "Our inspirations ran the gamut from Louise Brooks and Dietrich to Bram Stoker's Dracula...we decided that we should try and cover as much of the stage with the train which ended up being about 15 feet long!" Worn throughout the first act where Rufus plans to run through his entire album, the broken-bride-from-hell outfit is only made more theatrical by the backdrop film by Douglas Gordon. Catch him (and that dress) in NY on July 11th and pick up tickets on this website here.
