Ooh La La! Fanning Sisters Play Muse To Famous French Label

We have to confess: When the pics from Bill Gaytten's latest collection for John Galliano hit the web, we nearly snapped our necks doing double and triple takes. The pale model with perfectly parted blonde locks and a button nose gave us a major case of déjà vu. After a few sips of coffee and some serious head scratching, it hit us: She's a dead-on doppelgänger for the most stylish sibs in town, the Fannings!
And it looks like our hunch was correct. Gaytten, a.k.a. Galliano's longtime right-hand man, admitted to WWD that the new collection was indeed inspired by the teens. Although we're accustomed to seeing Dakota in provocative ads for Marc Jacobs and Elle running around in Rodarte, they've yet to witness major acclaim from the other side of the Atlantic. The drop-waist dresses and modest hemlines from the collection harken back to the Fannings' feminine and age-appropriate picks, while the structured jackets and floor-length gowns are more grown-up versions of their signature looks.

We're pretty positive the gals are flattered by the shout-out (who wouldn't be?), but fingers crossed they make some room in their luxe label-filled closets to add these complementary creations into the regular rotation! (Elle)
