Everyone's been watching the YouTube video where, in an emboldened political move rife with passion, an Iraqi journalist takes off his shoes and hurls them directly at George W. Bush during a conference. While having things aimed at your head is never particularly safe, what if he'd sourced from the perilous-looking designs from the runway? If a seriously tricked out Louboutin heel or a heavily studded Burberry sandal was thrown your way, you would not make it out alive. Footwear as weaponry: no longer just a danger to your arches.
