We Found A Sheet Mask That Will Actually Fit Your Face

Certain beauty products — think NARS blush in Orgasm, Clinique's Black Honey lipstick — are so good, they're practically famous and have devoted, loyal followings. While we love many of these, we've been wondering why others have been quietly flying under the radar. With that in mind, meet our series,Cult Classics, in which we'll introduce you to the products you should really, truly know about (and try, like, right now). They're not brand-new, but trust us: They've got staying power.

I'm one of those people who will sit up on their pedestal and wax poetic about the benefits of incorporating regular masking into your skin care regimen. I use them daily: right after I wash my face and right before I slather on my moisturizer. Sheet masks rank number one on my favorites list, but I've always been a HUGE hater of how these things actually fit my face — or, how they don't actually fit my face. In an effort to be one-size-fits-all, the sheets tend to be massive, and the parts that are supposed to fit snugly never do.  Then, as if listening to my prayers, Cle de Peau Beauté bestowed upon us its luxuriant Intensive Brightening Mask. While there are many good-for-your-skin ingredients in this mask (which I'll get to in a second), the thing that truly won me over is the fact that it's split into two sections. There's a larger section that spans from hairline to right below the nose, and one for chin, cheeks, and jawline.  The reason for the two sections? It allows the sheet to fit more snugly to the contours of your face. But, Cle de Peau Beauté also divided the sections (which are even packaged separately), to deliver different ingredients to these two very different parts of your face. While the overall end goal is the same — to help treat and prevent dark spots — the mask also treats separate issues that result in these parts of your face. Black tea extract, vitamin E, and raspberry leaf extract in the upper section work to target darkness and dullness around the eyes, nose, and forehead. The lower portion relies on apricot nectar, chai hu extracts, and acqua-in-pool to brighten the area around the cheeks and mouth. This sallowness tends to be caused by roughness and enlarged pores, which are common in this area. It's like double-masking, but in one, easy-to-use package.  Another perk? The sheet also has eye flaps, so even they can get a little extra love. Plus, it gives you an excuse to do NOTHING while you mask. I like to put on some light music, burn a soothing candle, lay back, and relax. Go on — you deserve to be pampered — bliss out! Cle de Peau Beauté Intensive Brightening Mask, $30, available at Cle de Peau Beauté.
