I've been to my fair share of great dinner parties in New York — or, so I thought. Then I was invited to an event by Filigree Suppers (a new pop-up dinner party series that partners with incredible chefs, florists, and makers in various cities) at artist and style icon Beatrix Ost's private home. From the moment I stepped into the space, it was clear the air was laced with magic.
The theme of the night was "Female Icons," celebrating talented women from Gabrielle Chanel to Dorothy Parker with a six-course meal designed by chef Dana Klitzberg. And we weren't just treated to an incredible meal. Beatrix's dear friend Eva Glasmacher serenaded us throughout the night with French and German arias performed from the second balcony. Not my typical Sunday night.
