How To Make Fringe Work For YOUR Closet

Fashion trends are cyclical in nature. We hear this time and time and time again. But, this season, perhaps more than ever, makes a strong case for this notion. From Alexander Wang's '90s-nostalgia runway to the '70s-era fringe seen at Joseph Altuzarra, The Row, and Tibi, there's little room for debate. But, we're not saying that's a bad thing — not at all. The resurgence of these once-loved styles means that, now, a whole new generation of women can wear and love them, too.
And, it should come as little surprise that our favorite celebrities are already donning the tasseled styles — they (and their stylists) are usually pretty on top of these things, after all. But, since we're not ones to be left out, we're drawing inspiration from Kate Mara, Olivia Palermo, the one and only Tilda Swinton, and more stylish gals for unique ways to interpret the trend for our closets this spring. Ahead, see fringed skirts, fringed dresses, tops, and even purses, too! Because, isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?
