Our love of a good beauty blog is well-documented, and come September it looks like we'll have one more to add to our burgeoning list. BeautyFlashBlog, a new site from French brand Clarins, is set to launch during Fashion Week and will feature beauty (obvi), but also fashion, art, and lifestyle. But what makes this web site different from the bevy of brand-backed blogrolls currently clogging the interwebs is who's behind it (or at least contributing, a lot): the endlessly fascinating Courtin-Clarins girls.
Granddaughters of Clarins founder Jacques Courtin-Clarins, these lovely ladies — Virginie, Claire, Prisca and Jenna — have taken the fashion world by storm with their striking good looks, sartorial bravada, and savvy business sense. But these are no mere figureheads: The girls play a big part on the site, even starring in their own videos. In one segment, Claire sits makeup-free and wrapped in a towel to demonstrate her personal skin care routine. Now that's dedication!
The site won't go fully live until September 6 (hello, Fashion Week), but right now you can check out the page, watch a video that introduces the girls, and get a sneak peek at what's coming soon. According to the brand, in addition to all the insider intel you'll get from the girls, the site will also feature segments with beauty experts, friends, and models in the content mix. Looks like we just found a new place to focus our finely tuned Internet browsing skills....
