In this recent clip, the Oscar-winning Octavia Spencer plays the iconic Harriet Tubman. Many of us remember Tubman as a former slave who was instrumental in the fight for freedom. What you might not have known is that she also was a spy for the Union Army during the Civil War. She came up with a plot to burn down plantations, in the process freeing more than 700 slaves. She was aided, according to this episode's narrator by her "army full of bad bitches" which is definitely something they didn't (but totally should have) gone over in elementary school.
