Why Did This Game Of Thrones Star Dis Cara Delevingne?

Why Richard Madden thought it was necessary to get down on Cara Delevingne during a recent interview with Yahoo Style is beyond us. But get down he did, and it's pretty clear how the Cinderella actor feels about the English sensation. "It was unprofessional," he said of the much-discussed interview the Paper Towns star gave to Good Day Sacramento over the summer. "It made her seem ungrateful. She showed her age. I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions." Madden also suggested that if Delevingne couldn't handle the grind of a press tour, she might want to rethink her choice of profession. "If you're not capable of doing it gracefully, don't do it," the 29-year-old actor added. We're sure at this point Delevingne is sick of revisiting comments about her tone and demeanor during that short-lived appearance. But — to her credit — she hasn't backed down, either. The former model has said that she will not apologize for being "human." We say: good for her. It's well worth remembering that Delevingne wasn't annoyed on air by repetitious questions, but by the fact that the show's hosts were patronizing and condescending during the interview. Her chilly manner was an understandable reaction to ridiculous queries about whether or not she actually read the book on which the Paper Towns film was based — she did, in fact, many times over. Furthermore, Madden calling her professionalism into question and saying that she needs to shape up to stay in the acting game was not only unwarranted, it was a textbook instance of unabashed mansplaining. We're sure if Delevingne ever desires career assistance from the GOT actor, she'll ask for it. For now, he would do well to keep his comments to himself. She's doing just fine without them, thank you very much.
