Miley Cyrus Hosting MTV VMAs 2015

Gird your loins: Miley Cyrus is returning to the MTV Video Music Awards. This time, she's got all the power...and, quite possibly, the pasties. Yesterday MTV announced that the pop star will be hosting this year's show. Naturally, an Instagram post was required to make the news official.

This year's ceremony will air live from the Microsoft Theater on August 30 at 9 p.m. EST. Nominations are set to be announced later today. Cyrus is no stranger to the VMAs. In 2013, she famously twerked against Robin Thicke. Last year, she took a more mature tone and used her Video of the Year speech to highlight the plight of homeless teens. Goodness knows what she's got in store for this year. The censors must be sweating already.
